The Supreme Court set aside Rajasthan's refusal to permit a non-partisan voter awareness campaign. The ruling said election authorities should facilitate such initiatives while policing any corrupt practices.

During the hearing, a bench comprising Chief Justice of India Surya Kant and Justices Joymalya Bagchi and V Mohana asked the petitioners to submit a detailed schedule instead of seeking general permission for the campaign.
