Manish Malhotra made his official Paris Haute Couture Week debut with 'Maa', a collection shaped by his grief for his mother. The show also marked India's growing visibility on fashion's most prestigious stage.

The collection featured luxurious velvets, silks and brocades, enhanced with intricate Indian hand-embroidery techniques including zardozi, resham, sequins, pearls and precious embellishments.
