Pune Police alleged that Vanit was riding his four-wheeler at high speed and overtook the convoy in a negligent manner, endangering other motorists and pedestrians.

Police have registered an FIR against a motorcyclist for overtaking the convoy of Union minister Murlidhar Mohol in Pune city allegedly in an inebriated condition, officials said.
