India rejects the Court of Arbitration's pondage award on the Indus Waters Treaty, asserting its decision remains in force.

India rejected the latest Court of Arbitration award on maximum pondage under the Indus Waters Treaty. The government said it does not recognise the panel and its 2025 decision to keep the treaty in abeyance remains unchanged.

India earlier questioned such charades at Pakistan's behest, terming them as desperate attempts to escape accountability for its role as the global epicentre of terrorism.
