June 12 (UPI) -- More than 100,000 users of Meta's social media platforms Facebook, Instagram and Messenger are experiencing an outage on Friday.

According to Downdetector, a website that tracks online service disruptions, more than 100,000 outage reports for Facebook had been submitted on Friday morning.

The visual graph is actually deceiving, as it looks like there are few reports at first glance. However, that's only because the peak was more than 100,000. Even with the dramatic decline, it's still at more than 12,000 reports.
