The family of the minor girl on whose complaint a case under POCSO Act was registered against the bus conductor on Monday issued a video statement saying they have decided to withdraw the case and requested to stop escalating the matter.

A KSRTC bus conductor was beaten up in Belagavi on February 22 allegedly for not speaking in Marathi.

The Belagavi border dispute is a long-standing conflict between the Indian states of Maharashtra and Karnataka.
