Acting Senate President Sherwin Gatchalian’s bloc is set to hold its own Blue Ribbon committee inquiry today into the multibillion-peso flood control scandal under newly elected chair Sen. Erwin Tulfo.

(Updated) The men who alleged P805 billion in flood control kickbacks appeared last week at a Cayetano bloc-led proceeding but skipped the Tulfo-led hearing.

Now under Sen. Erwin Tulfo, the Senate Blue Ribbon panel reopened its inquiry into the flood control controversy.
