SIPTU said it has agreed to stand down a planned 72-hour strike by members of the National Ambulance Service next week following what the union described as "constructive discussions" with the HSE at the Labour Court yesterday.

Siptu said an ongoing work-to-rule, which began on 11 May, will be stood down at noon today to allow the process to continue.
