“The vice president is wrong”: Prosecutor who charged Derek Chauvin says ICE officer who shot Minneapolis woman is not immune
In a conversation with Laura Coates, Michael Freeman, the prosecutor who brought charges against Derek Chauvin after the murder of George Floyd, says federal immunity should not apply to the ICE officer who shot and killed Renee Good. Freeman claims the officer had no grounds for his actions, saying, “He had no reason to fear for his life, he had no reason to fire his weapon, and he shouldn’t have.”
