Sept. 16 (UPI) -- Alleged shooter Tyler Robinson was charged Tuesday with aggravated murder, felony discharge of a firearm, two counts of obstruction of justice, two counts of witness tampering and committing a violent offense in the presence of a child.

In the indictment, prosecutors claim Tyler Robinson planned Kirk’s killing in advance, citing rooftop surveillance, engraved bullets, and a written note as they seek the death penalty.
