Daniel Bwala predicts that President Bola Tinubu will win the 2027 election by a wider margin than in 2023, while dismissing the chances of his opponents.

Donald Duke warned President Tinubu could win in 2027 if Atiku and Obi divide the opposition, citing the 2023 vote as proof that split bids favour incumbents again.

Duke said the split opposition vote between Atiku Abubakar of the Africa Democratic Congress (ADC) and Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), could repeat the outcome of the 2023 presidential election and give Tinubu an advantage.

Bwala made the assertion while speaking on Channels Television’s Politics Today, in response to a question on what gave him confidence that Tinubu could win the 2027 election, despite arguments that the President’s 2023 victory was relatively narrow.
