The SSS, in the suit filed on 13 May by Akinlolu Kehinde, SAN, contended that the move by Pat Utomi was intended to create chaos and destabilise the country.

The leader of the Big Tent Coalition and Economist had earlier unveiled a shadow cabinet to serve as a credible opposition to President Bola administration. 

The secret police, in a suit filed at the Federal High Court in Abuja, prayed the court to declare the move by Utomi as an attack on the constitution.

The SSS says Mr Utomi's shadow cabinet will threaten the lawful authority of the Nigerian government.
