Jan. 14 (UPI) -- Kiefer Sutherland was arrested Monday after allegedly assaulting a ride-share driver, Los Angeles police officials said.

Investigators arrested the actor, star of 24 and Designated Survivor, in Hollywood early on Monday morning.

The actor also made “criminal threats” toward the driver, according to the Los Angeles police.
