President U Min Aung Hlaing calls for corruption-free, trusted Myanmar Police Force
President U Min Aung Hlaing has called for the Myanmar Police Force to be developed into a well-trained, corruption-free institution that earns public trust and confidence. Speaking at a ceremony marking the 62nd Myanmar Police Force Day on October 1, President U Min Aung Hlaing said the police force should uphold the three national causes and successfully carry out its four objectives and six main duties. He called for the force to be developed under the vision of being “patriotic, capable and modern,” while maintaining discipline, accountability and respect for the law.
