Every year, Meta announces new hardware and software updates at the Meta Connect event. That happens to be this week, but details of some announcements have already surfaced in advance. Yesterday, it was confirmed that at least one new smart glasses would be showcased.

Meta, the parent company of Facebook accidentally revealed details about its upcoming smart glasses just days before its Meta Connect 2025 event.

Since launching the Ray-Ban Meta glasses, Meta has largely owned the smart glasses space but competition is finally catching up. It'll be interesting to see how or if Meta can stay a step ahead of competitors.
