Ukraine and the US will soon meet in Switzerland to discuss Washington's plan for ending the war with Russia, which currently heeds to some of Russia's hardline demands, Kyiv said.

"Ukraine may face a very difficult choice: either the loss of dignity or the risk of losing a key partner," Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in an address to his nation.

Zelensky pushed back on the American plan, saying he would not “betray” his country.
