A man suspected of fatally stabbing a 31-year-old woman with a knife Sunday morning in the southern German town of Rosenheim was detained.

Aug. 30 (UPI) -- A British woman died Sunday after a German suspect attacked her with a knife at a train station in Rosenheim, Bavarian police said.

A British woman was fatally stabbed at a German train station; a 27-year-old suspect has been detained.

The suspect in the Saturday evening's stabbing at Amsterdam Centraal has been identified as a 43-year-old man from Naarden. Four people, including the suspect, were stabbed at around 19:30 p.m. and taken to a hospital. The suspect was then arrested. Some passerby at De Ruijterkade, at the back of the station, witnessed the incident, NU.nl reported.

Four people were injured in a stabbing at Amsterdam Centraal train station on Saturday, NOS reports. Emergency service responded at around 19:30 p.m. The suspect was also among the injured and was arrested by the police after first being taken to a hospital.One more victim was also taken to the hospital. The severity of the injuries is unknown, police told NU.nl. However, they are said to at least not be life-threatening.
