The Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, has refuted claims that its General Overseer, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, campaigned for the government in power.

The image has resurfaced in recent weeks amid growing criticism of the cleric’s perceived silence over insecurity, killings and abductions across the country under President Bola Tinubu’s administration.

RCCG stated Pastor Adeboye never protested Jonathan’s government; the viral photo was from Buhari-era walk, as Adeboye urged decisive action on insecurity.
