The arrests came within days of the incident. Both women were reportedly caught at New Delhi railway station on October 20.

After the firing, the accused allegedly followed a planned escape route through Vile Parle and Andheri, abandoned their motorcycle near Andheri West railway station, and boarded a train. Preliminary investigation, cited by ANI, indicates they later crossed into Gujarat to evade police.

The police are investigating whether the accused used Instagram posts and reels to track the actor’s movements and whether he was their original target or a substitute after another plan failed.
