TMC leader Abhishek Banerjee was attacked during his visit to Sonarpur near Kolkata, where he had gone to meet the families of alleged victims of post-poll violence. Scores of people hurled stones, eggs and abuses at the TMC national general secretary.

Four people were arrested after Abhishek Banerjee was attacked by a mob during his Sonarpur visit. The incident triggered a political blame game, with the Trinamool Congress accusing the BJP and the BJP denying involvement.

In the clip, Mamata Banerjee was seen and heard threatening the CEO of the hospital on Saturday night to get her nephew, Abhishek Banerjee, admitted there. The purported video was shared by Debjit Sarkar, the BJP's spokesman in West Bengal.
