The CBI has filed an appeal in Delhi High Court, challenging a special court's order discharging Kavitha, Kejriwal and others in the liquor policy case.

Special Judge Jitendra Singh said that the chargesheet had several lacunae not supported by evidence, as he discharged 21 more besides the two Aam Aadmi Party leaders in the matter

"Today's judgement discharging Kejriwal, Sisodia & Kavitha in the excise policy case exposes the high handedness of investigative agencies," Mehbooba said in a post on X
