The incident occurred on Saturday afternoon when police personnel were carrying out routine patrolling and checking in the Janta Vihar area of Mukundpur in Delhi's Bhalswa Dairy area.

The attackers allegedly threw chilli powder into the eyes of the police personnel and assaulted them with bricks, stones and sticks.

Three Delhi Police personnel were injured after a group allegedly attacked them in Bhalswa Dairy during a dispute over a seized motorcycle. A juvenile was held, the main accused remains absconding, and police have begun a wider search.
