External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar addressed the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Council of Heads of Government meeting in Moscow, where he strongly condemned terrorism and asserted India's right to defend its citizens. He pressed for a united international stance against the threat, insisting it must be confronted head-on. Dr. Jaishankar said, 'It is imperative that the world display zero tolerance for terror in all its forms and manifestations. There can be absolutely no justification, no looking away, and no whitewashing terror.' The minister reiterated that India has demonstrated its right to defend its people against terrorism and will continue to exercise it.
