A group of Youth Congress workers staged a brief protest inside an exhibition hall at the AI Impact Summit, raising slogans against Prime Minister Narendra Modi before being escorted out by security personnel. The protesters entered Hall No 5 wearing or carrying white T-shirts printed with images of Prime Minister Modi and US President Donald Trump, along with slogans such as "India-US Trade Deal", "Epstein Files" and "PM is compromised", triggering a commotion at the venue. The situation soon escalated into a brief melee, with heated exchanges between some attendees of the high-profile event and the protesters. Although the demonstrators did not carry party flags or other visible symbols indicating political affiliation, one of them claimed he was "from the Indian Youth Congress."

The summit is being held in the national capital, and drew criticism from Leader of the Opposition (LoP) in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi and Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge. 

The protest was witnessed during the second-last day of the India AI Impact Summit 2026.
