US President Donald Trump said the US was considering "winding down" its military operation against Iran, as Iran and Israel traded attacks and Iranian media said the nuclear enrichment facility in Natanz had been attacked.

The Israeli military said it launched a wave of strikes on Lebanon's capital Beirut targeting Iran-backed militant group Hezbollah early this morning, after calling on residents of several areas to evacuate.

Lebanon's health ministry says the war has killed more than 1,000 people in the country and displaced more than one million people.
