A 43-year-old Swiss man was arrested on "strong suspicion" of being behind a deadly gun attack at a rave in Switzerland, police said.

One woman was killed and several others were injured in a shooting at a rave in the Swiss town of Aarau over the weekend. Police say a 43-year-old suspect has been arrested.

Aug. 30 (UPI) -- Authorities in Switzerland said they arrested a suspect Monday in a shooting at a rave that killed a woman and injured five others.

Five people aged between 24 and 31 were wounded, and the police believe that a lone gunman was involved.

Swiss police say that a shooting at a rave in the northern Swiss canton of Aargau has killed one person and left five injured. Police said they are still looking for potentially more than one suspect.
