PM Modi receives Ethiopia’s highest civilian award during his first bilateral visit, signalling a new high point in India–Africa relations.

The Ethiopian Prime Minister took the special initiative of personally taking Prime Minister Modi to the Science Museum and Friendship Park, which were not part of the official itinerary. Prime Minister Modi also participated in a traditional coffee ceremony with his Ethiopian counterpart at Addis Ababa airport, symbolizing the warm friendship between the two countries.
