Following the death of a 27-year-old software engineer whose car plunged into a water-filled pit at a construction site in Sector 150, the Noida Authority has terminated the services of a junior engineer.

Noida Techie Death Case: The victims family has alleged gross administrative negligence, claiming that timely intervention could have saved his life. Following an outrage, the administration has taken action and removed M Lokesh, the chief executive officer (CEO) of Noida and Managing Director of Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC). 

Greater Noida car accident: The CEO of Noida and the MD of Noida Metro Corporation were removed from their respective posts after the formation of a three-member Special Investigation Team to probe the incident, announced Uttar Pradesh CMO, issuing a statement.
