A full house is expected as VIP tickets for the first leg clash of the 2022 FIFA World CUP playoff tie between Ghana and Nigeria have sold out, Ghanasoccernet.com can confirm.

On Wednesday morning, the National Sports Authority, which is in charge of ticketing, permitted spectators to purchase tickets online.

The VIP seats, which are pricey, were sold out hours later.

Meanwhile, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has approved Ghana's proposal to let 40,000 spectators inside the Baba Yara Stadium.

This follows the Ghana Football Association's request to play the game in a full-capacity stadium, as per CAF standards.

As a result, the GFA advises all Ghanaians to rigorously follow all safety and security measures in place in order to have a successful match and prevent any CAF or FIFA punishments.

Meanwhile, fans are urged to stick to the approved spectator and stakeholder access points and gates for ticket verification.

The play-off match between Ghana and Nigeria will kick off at 1930 GMT on Friday, March 25, 2022.

Black Stars trained for the second time in Kumasi on Wednesday. They will wrap up their preparations on Thursday with their final training session.

Nigeria are expected in Kumasi on Thursday.

Nigeria will fly out via a chartered flight from the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja on Thursday morning.

The team is expected to land at the Kotoka International Airport before they embark on their trip to Kumasi.

The team upon arrival will train at the match venue 24 hours before the game as stipulated by the competition regulations by CAF and FIFA.

The return leg is scheduled for March 29 in Abuja.
