The Baba Yaara Sports Stadium in Kumasi has been given the green light to host the game between Ghana and Nigeria after CAF's final inspection on Tuesday.

Having moved the game from Cape Coast to Kumasi, CAF instructed the National Sports Authority to fix all minor problems at the stadium before it will be given full clearance.

On Tuesday night, a team led by Mr. Kintu Ivan from CAF checked the floodlights to ascertain its brightness and intensity levels since the game will be played in the evening.

The team were satisfied by the rapid fix by the managers of the stadium, and have declared Baba Yara ready for the mouthwatering clash.

The Black Stars held their first training at the Baba Yara Sports stadium on Tuesday and will have two sessions on Wednesday.

Nigeria are expected to touch down on Thursday and will also hold a mandatory training that same day before Friday's game.

Ghana will host the Super Eagles on March 25, 2022 in the first leg of their double header before travelling to the Mashood Abiola stadium four days later for the second leg.
