Egyptian Red Crescent dispatches 53rd aid convoy to Gaza with over 8.5K tons of humanitarian relief

CAIRO – 19 October 2025: On Sunday, the Egyptian Red Crescent launched its 53rd humanitarian aid convoy to the Gaza Strip under the banner “Zad Al-Ezza... From Egypt to Gaza.”

The convoy, part of Egypt’s ongoing role as a national coordination mechanism for aid delivery to Gaza, consists of hundreds of trucks carrying more than 8,500 tons of urgent humanitarian assistance.

The shipment includes approximately 3,500 tons of food baskets and flour, over 2,300 tons of essential medical and relief supplies, and more than 2,500 tons of petroleum products, responding to the critical needs of civilians in the Strip.

This latest convoy is part of broader Egyptian efforts to provide continuous food, medical, and logistical support to the people of Gaza amid the ongoing humanitarian crisis.
