Mahindra and Mahindra reported a strong sales performance in June 2026, driven by sustained demand for its SUV portfolio and light commercial vehicles. The automaker recorded total vehicle sales of 1,06,207 units, including exports, marking a 37 per cent year-on-year increase.

The company's utility vehicle (UV) business continued to lead growth, with domestic SUV sales rising 28 per cent to 60,393 units from 47,306 units in the corresponding month last year. Including exports, Mahindra sold 61,504 utility vehicles during the month.

Domestic sales of commercial vehicles stood at 26,076 units, up 35 per cent year-on-year, reflecting healthy demand in the light commercial vehicle segment.

Commenting on the performance, Nalinikanth Gollagunta, CEO of Mahindra's Automotive Division, said the company delivered robust growth across both its SUV and LCV businesses, with overall vehicle sales crossing the one lakh mark in June on the back of broad-based demand across its portfolio.

Exports also witnessed a sharp jump during the month. Mahindra shipped 5,918 vehicles overseas in June, compared to 2,634 units a year earlier, registering a 125 per cent increase.

On a year-to-date basis (April-June FY27), Mahindra's domestic utility vehicle sales grew 15 per cent to 1,74,745 units, while LCV sales in the 2-3.5-tonne category rose 19 per cent to 63,600 units. Sales of three-wheelers, including electric models, surged 76 per cent to 36,255 units during the period. Exports increased 64 per cent to 15,888 units in the first three months of FY27.

The June sales figures underscore Mahindra's continued momentum in the domestic SUV market, supported by sustained customer demand and a growing export business.
