March Mayhem! Odisha to sizzle with temperature rise of 3 to 4 degrees Celsius for next 2 weeks
by Swati · KalingaTVBhubaneswar: The temperature is likely to rise by 3 to 4 degrees Celsius from March 9 predicted IMD. The weathermen also alerted that the rising temperature is likely to increase over the next 2 weeks.
The Westerlies will flow in the North western direction and as a result the movement of cold waves will decrease in the state. The mercury will soar high and Odisha will witness scorching heat.
In the coming days the temperature is likely to rise by 3 to 4 degrees Celsius. In central parts of Odisha the temperature is likely to rise by 3 to 5 degrees Celsius while coastal Odisha will see 2 to 3 degrees rise in the mercury.
The regional centre of IMD also predicted that the temperature at certain places is likely to touch 40 degrees Celsius in the coming days.
