MINI, BMW, Motorrad Volumes – BMW India 2025 Sales Growth

BMW Group India reports total car sales reached 18,001 units for 2025. Year-on-year growth stood at 14 percent. Sales for the marquee yet again crossed highest-ever annual car volume. Average luxury segment growth was referenced for comparison.
Brand-wise reporting separates BMW, MINI, and BMW Motorrad volumes. BMW car sales reached 17,271 units in 2025. MINI contributed 730 car units. BMW Motorrad delivered 5,841 motorcycles.
BMW Group India Q4 2025 Car Sales at 6,023 Units
Quarterly reporting highlights the October to December 2025 period. Q4 car sales totalled 6,023 units. Year-on-year Q4 growth measured 17 percent. This quarter recorded the highest Q4 volume to date. Seasonal demand patterns aligned with festive purchasing cycles.
Multi-year tracking shows repeated record-setting volumes. Annual sales reached a highest level for four consecutive years. Each month of 2025 posted a highest-ever sales figure. The 4 quarters of 2025 also recorded a highest-ever result.
BMW Group India EV Sales Reach 3,753 Units in 2025
Electric vehicle volumes formed a defined share of total sales. EV deliveries reached 3,753 units in 2025. Year-on-year EV growth reached 200 percent. EV penetration rose to 21 percent of total sales. Penetration during the previous year stood at 8 percent.
Luxury electric vehicle positioning continued during the year. Market share within the luxury EV segment remained highest since 2022. BMW i7 recorded top-end EV segment volumes. BMW iX1 led entry-level EV volumes. BMW iX1 remained the highest-selling premium EV in India.
Year-on-Year Growth in Long Wheelbase Volumes
Electric mobility support relied on charging access and routing tools. Charging access exceeded 6,000 points nationwide. Destination Charging supported home and workplace charging use. Smart E-Routing assisted route planning with charging stops. Charging Concierge enabled assisted charging access.
Long wheelbase vehicles formed a large share of car demand. Sales reached 8,608 units. Year-on-year growth measured 162 percent. Long wheelbase models contributed 50 percent of BMW car sales. Contribution during the previous year stood at 29 percent.
BMW X1 and X5 Lead SAV Volumes
Sports Activity Vehicles accounted for a majority share. SAV sales reached 10,748 units during 2025. Year-on-year growth measured 22 percent. SAVs formed 60 percent of total car sales. BMW X1 ranked first, followed by BMW X5.
Product activity included multiple introductions across brands. Twenty new products launched during 2025. Launches included BMW X3 and MINI Convertible. BMW Motorrad launches included BMW R 1300 GS Adventure. Historical sales data from 2009 to 2025 shows cumulative car sales of 156,363 units.
