Maruti Sales June 2026 – Domestic PV Sales Up 24%, Total Sales Cross 2 Lakh
by Nabanita Singha Roy · RushLaneMaruti Suzuki recorded strong sales growth in June 2026, with domestic passenger vehicle (PV) sales increasing 23.78% year-on-year to 1,47,187 units. Including exports, LCVs and supplies to Toyota, the company registered total sales of 2,00,390 units during the month, up 19.28% over June 2025.
On a month-on-month basis, however, domestic PV sales declined from the record 1,90,337 units sold in May 2026. Despite this sequential dip, June remained significantly stronger than the same month last year, highlighting sustained customer demand across Maruti Suzuki’s portfolio.
SUVs Continue To Drive Growth
The biggest contributor to Maruti’s domestic growth remained its expanding SUV lineup. Utility Vehicle sales increased to 61,726 units in June 2026, compared to 47,947 units during the same month last year.
The UV portfolio currently includes Brezza, Fronx, Grand Vitara, Ertiga, eVitara, Invicto, Jimny, XL6 and Victoris. Together, these models continue to strengthen Maruti’s presence across multiple SUV segments, helping the company maintain strong momentum despite increasing competition.
Passenger cars also registered healthy gains. Sales of Alto and S-Presso almost doubled compared to last year, while the Compact and Mid-size segment comprising Baleno, Swift, Dzire, WagonR, Celerio, Ignis and Ciaz also recorded notable growth. Eeco van sales also improved year-on-year.
Exports Remain Strong
Maruti Suzuki continued to witness healthy export performance during June. Overseas shipments increased 13.02% to 42,768 units, compared to 37,842 units in June last year. Sales to Toyota, however, declined to 7,472 units from 8,812 units a year ago, while Super Carry LCV sales improved 21.78% to 2,963 units. Overall, the company registered total sales of 2,00,390 units during June 2026, an increase of 19.28% over 1,67,993 units sold in the corresponding month last year.
Strong Start To FY2026-27
Maruti Suzuki has also started the new financial year on a strong note. During the April-June quarter, domestic passenger vehicle sales increased 33.45% to 5,25,228 units. Total sales, including domestic dispatches, exports, LCVs and OEM supplies, stood at 6,82,724 units during the first quarter of FY2026-27, representing a healthy 29.34% year-on-year growth.
Maruti Suzuki is expected to further strengthen its position over the coming months with several new product launches. The company is preparing to introduce the updated Brezza facelift later this month, bringing refreshed styling, additional features and a possible new turbo-petrol engine. Maruti has also started testing the Baleno facelift and an all new electric 7 seater MPV, both expected to launch next year.
