Maruti Suzuki Sales Dec 2025 At 1.79 Lakh Units – CY2025 At 19.55 Lakh Units

The company registered positive growth in both YoY and MoM aspects. If we bring calendar year 2025 into the equation, CY2025 for Maruti Suzuki brought the highest-ever domestic and highest-ever exports. Let’s break down the numbers.
Maruti Suzuki Sales Dec 2025
With 1,78,646 units sold in December 2025, Maruti Suzuki registered a 37.3% YoY growth over 1,30,117 units sold in November 2024, gaining 48,529 units in volume YoY. When compared to the 1,70,971 units sold in November 2025, Maruti Suzuki saw a 4.49% MoM growth, gaining 7,675 units in volume MoM.
Breaking down the numbers further, we can see that Maruti’s Mini segment consisting of Alto and S-Presso saw numbers almost double at 14,225 units over 7,418 units from last year. The Compact segment (Sub 4m) also showed strong growth as there were 78,704 units last month, when compared to 54,906 units from a year ago. This segment has vehicles like Baleno, Celerio, Dzire, Ignis, Swift and WagonR.
With Utility segment consisting of Brezza, Ertiga, Fronx, Grand Vitara, Invicto, Jimny, Victoris and XL6, Maruti registered strong growth with 73,818 units, as opposed to 55,651 units from last year. A slight growth was seen in Vans as there were 11,899 Eeco sold over 11,678. These constituted Maruti’s total passenger vehicle sales of 1,78,646, while CV sales (Super Carry) stood at 3,519 units.
Sales to Toyota was at 9,950 units, up from 8,306 units from last year with a 19.79% YoY growth. Exports stood at 25,739 units in December 2025, which was a 31.21% YoY decline down from 37,419 units. Thus the total sales stood at 2,17,854 units, registering a 22.22% YoY growth, gaining 39,606 units in volume.
CY2025 Sales
Maruti Suzuki’s total domestic sales in CY2025 stood at a whopping 23,51,139 units, which is its highest-ever annual sales. Splitting this number, we get 19,55,491 units sold in the domestic market and 3,95,648 units sold in the export market. Both this domestic and export numbers are highest-ever for the brand.
The 3.95 lakh vehicles shipped to global markets in CY2025, made Maruti Suzuki India’s #1 passenger vehicle exporter for the fifth consecutive year. Thus registering a 21% YoY growth when compared to vehicles shipped in CY2024.
