MANILA, Philippines — Diesel prices are set to surge by as much as P18.80 per liter on Tuesday, April 7, marking one of the steepest single-week increases as global oil prices remain elevated.

In separate advisories, oil firms said the latest adjustments will take effect early Tuesday, with diesel again taking the biggest hit.

Petron will raise diesel by P18.80 per liter, gasoline by P4.90, and kerosene by P8.10 effective 6 a.m. Tuesday. Seaoil will implement a P17.95 increase for diesel, alongside the same adjustments for gasoline and kerosene.

Jetti Petroleum, meanwhile, will raise diesel by P18.60 per liter and gasoline by P5.40 per liter, effective Friday, April 10.

The increases come on top of already elevated pump prices across Metro Manila.

Based on Department of Energy (DOE) bechmarks from March 31 to April 6, diesel had a common price of P128.80 per liter, with a range of P110 to P144.90. With Tuesday’s hikes, diesel prices at some stations could reach:
