Spain, Portugal work to fix massive power outage

Spain and Portugal held emergency Cabinet meetings as evacuations from some public spaces took place. Spain's Interior Ministry has declared a state of emergency for affected regions that need it. Follow DW.

• Spain has declared a state of emergency after the Portuguese and Spanish Cabinets convened emergency meetings
• Some areas in southern France were also briefly affected 
• Spanish power distributor Red Electrica says it could take hours to restore power across the country
