Japan's Marubeni reports 28% on-year rise in six-month profit

TOKYO :Japanese trading house Marubeni on Tuesday posted 305.5 billion yen ($2 billion) in net profit for the six months through September, up 28 per cent from the same period a year earlier.

The company kept its net profit forecast for the fiscal year ending in March unchanged at 510 billion yen.
