BYD February vehicle sales fall at steepest pace since pandemic

BEIJING, March 1 : Chinese electric vehicle maker BYD recorded the biggest fall in global sales in six years last month.

BYD's February sales plunged by 41.1 per cent from a year earlier, the sixth consecutive month of decline, according to a stock market filing on Sunday. The fall last month was the biggest since February 2020 when the economy was hit by the pandemic.
