The Nigerian Naira depreciated across official foreign and parallel foreign exchange markets on Friday to end the week on a negative note.

The Central Bank of Nigeria’s data showed that the Naira weakened on Friday to N1,370.19, down from N1,370.15 traded on Thursday.

This means that in the official foreign exchange market, the naira declined slightly by N0.04 against the dollar.

Similarly, at the black market, the Naira fell by N10 to N1,405 per dollar on Friday, down from N1,935 exchanged the previous day.
