Budget 2026: RM50 Billion Allocated for Loan Facilities & Govt Guarantees for M’sian Entrepreneurs
by Azri Azizan · WORLD OF BUZZDuring the tabling of the Budget 2026 today (10 October), Prime Minister Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim said that the total amount of loan facilities and government guarantees available for the benefit of local entrepreneurs will be RM50 billion, which is an increase from RM40 billion.
“Over RM2.5 billion in microloans will be provided, including through BSN (Bank Simpanan Nasional) and TEKUN.”

The amount of government guarantees under SJPP (Syarikat Jaminan Pembiayaan Perniagaan) will be increased to RM30 billion, up from RM20 billion. In addition to guaranteeing high-value sector companies, the scope of SJPP will also be expanded to include micro-entrepreneurs.
“An allocation of RM50 million is provided to the Malaysia Cooperative Societies Commission (SKM) as a financing fund to support cooperative-based enterprises across the country,” PMX said.
