Kildare Animal Foundation clarifies date of its annual Curragh Dog Walk event

The organisation apologised for any inconvenience caused by the error

Kildare Animal Foundation has clarified the date of its 2025 Annual Curragh Dog Walk.

Taking to social media to make the announcement today (December 18), KAF addressed supporters who had received its newsletter by post.

KAF explained: "The Annual Curragh Dog Walk takes place on December 28, 2025 at 12pm and not January 4, 2026, as stated in our recent newsletter."

"Apologies for any inconvenience caused," KAF added.

The 2025 iteration of the Annual Curragh Dog Walk will begin just outside The Curragh Racecourse entrance.

BRIEF BACKGROUND

According to KAF's official website, it was founded in 1994 by Geraldine O’Hanlon and a group of volunteers.

It is a registered charity that is dedicated to the welfare of cats, dogs and small animals. 

KAF is open to the public daily from 2pm to 4pm.

However, it should be noted that it is closed on public holidays.

KAF has an address listed as Lough Andy's House, South Green Road, Kildare town (R51 YE00).
