Riyadh – Mubasher: Alinma Bank has announced its interim financial results for the first nine months (9M) of 2026, reporting a net profit of SAR 4.86 billion.

This represents a 4.04% increase compared to the SAR 4.67 billion recorded during the same period in the previous year. The growth was primarily driven by a 6.13% rise in total operating income, supported by higher yields from financing and investment activities, despite an increase in expected credit loss provisions.

Total operating income reached SAR 9.25 billion, up from SAR 8.72 billion in the corresponding period of 2025.

This growth was underpinned by a 10.27% increase in net special commission income from financing, which totaled SAR 6.57 billion, and a 7.89% rise in net special commission income from investments, amounting to SAR 1.03 billion.

As of 30 September 2026, Alinma Bank’s total assets grew by 11.13% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 341.4 billion. The financing and investment loan portfolio saw a significant expansion of 11.98%, climbing to SAR 252.70 billion.

Net profit for the third quarter (Q3) of 2026 was SAR 1.58 billion, a marginal decrease of 0.23% from the SAR 1.59 billion in Q3-25.

This slight decline was influenced by lower income from banking service fees, fair value investment evaluations, and other operating income.

Additionally, the bank recorded a 56.07% increase in expected credit loss (ECL) provisions for the quarter, which rose to SAR 400 million compared to SAR 256.3 million in the prior-year period.

On a quarterly basis, the net profit also saw a minor decrease of 0.43% from SAR 1.59 billion earned in Q2-26.
