Empower logs AED 145m profits in Q1-25 - Mubasher Info

Dubai – Mubasher: Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation (Empower) reported a total revenue of AED 539.95 million in the first quarter (Q1) of 2025, up 0.40% year-on-year (YoY) from AED 537.72 million.

Net profits after tax hit AED 144.81 million as of 31 March 2025, versus AED 165.50 million in Q1-24, according to the financial results.

Ahmad bin Shafar, CEO of Empower, commented: "The sustainable growth during Q1-25 is a direct result of our strategic expansion in key projects, combined with Empower’s expertise in maximizing the value of its growing footprint in the district cooling market.”

“We have successfully added an increasing number of real estate projects across various sectors into our extensive portfolio, driving high demand for our services, which have become the preferred choice for both building owners and end-users," he added.

Dividends

In March 2025, Empower’s annual general meeting (AGM), with a quorum of 89.90%, approved cash dividends for the second half (H2) of 2024.

The total approved dividends of AED 437.50 million, equivalent to 4.37 fils per share, represent 43.75% of the company’s paid-up capital.

Empower’s net profits jumped to AED 908.23 million in 2024 from AED 960.08 million in 2023.
