Hyperliquid, a leading decentralized perpetuals exchange, is launching its HYPE token with a $3 billion projected valuation, allocating 31% to community members while excluding venture capital participation, following a month of record-breaking trading volumes.

The exchange says it's bypassing venture capital entirely in what could be one of crypto's largest grassroots-based community airdrops.
