Oracle on Tuesday said it would invest a total of $3 billion upgrading its cloud infrastructure at its facilities in Germany and the Netherlands amid the tech industry's growing demand for artificial intelligence hosting capacity.

Oracle will invest a combined $3 billion in AI and cloud infrastructure in Germany and the Netherlands over the next five years, the company said in separate statements on Tuesday.Oracle will invest $2 billion in Germany and $1 billion in the Netherlands.
