Preparations are underway to disburse loans in January 2026 for the reconstruction of areas affected by the powerful earthquake. The fourth meeting (4/2025) of the Central Committee for the Supervision of the Reconstruction Fund for Areas Affected by the Major Mandalay Earthquake was held on December 23 at the Central Bank of Myanmar in Nay Pyi Taw, according to the reports.
