IndiGo will introduce a fuel surcharge on all domestic and international flights from 14 March due to soaring jet fuel prices amid the Middle East conflict. The airline said the charge is a “relatively smaller amount” to partly offset costs while minimising the burden on passengers.

The move came amid rising jet turbine fuel prices linked to the ongoing Middle East crisis. Before Akasa Air, IndiGo and Air India also announced a hike in fuel prices.
