Zelda: Ocarina of Time launches for Nintendo Switch 2 on 5th November

Nintendo has announced the release date for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time in the 40th Anniversary Zelda Direct. The beautiful looking remake will launch for Nintendo Switch 2 on 5th November 2026. The game includes a lot of new features not in the original N64 version, including a “Threads of Time” menu that shows your story progress and next objective, fully voiced cutscenes, an unlocked free-moving camera, a jump button, a roll/dash ability, and more. You can even play the Ocarina in-game by whistling in real life or using a physical Ocarina (coming soon to the Nintendo Store), utilizing the Nintendo Switch 2 microphone.
